About Kasey

Kasey earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wichita State University. A Wichita native, she brings a deep connection to her community and a genuine interest in helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives.

Before becoming a counselor, Kasey spent many years working in sales and marketing, where she developed an appreciation for communication, relationships, and the many different ways people connect with one another. Her path also led her to yoga, which has been an important part of her life for many years. As a certified yoga teacher, former yoga studio owner, and yoga teacher trainer, she brings extensive experience with mindfulness, movement, breathwork, and the mind-body connection into her work as a therapist.

Her clinical training and areas of study include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based approaches, mindfulness, and somatic practices. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, she draws from these different perspectives to meet each client’s individual needs, experiences, and goals.

Kasey believes that many of the patterns we carry into adulthood developed for a reason. By exploring those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, therapy can help us better understand ourselves, heal from difficult experiences, strengthen our relationships, and discover new ways of moving forward.

Kasey’s therapeutic approach is integrative and grounded in curiosity, compassion, and connection.

Outside of the counseling office, Kasey is a mom of two and enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing and teaching yoga, and finding creative outlets. She believes connection, curiosity, creativity, and humor all have a place in a meaningful life—and sometimes in the therapy room, too.

Kasey is an independent practitioner located at Forage, a collaborative wellness space in Wichita, Kansas. Each practitioner operates independently and maintains their own practice policies, procedures, scheduling, billing, and clinical responsibilities. All Forage practitioners share a common commitment to wellness and collaborative care.
